O Paradise Lost lança Draconian Times MMXI no dia 5 de novembro, via Century Media Records. O DVD traz o registro de um show realizado em Londres, no The Forum, além de documentário da turnê, filmado pelo baixista Steve Edmonson e entrevista sobre o clássico álbum com o produtor Simon Efemey. De bônus, os dois vídeos promocionais do mais recente trabalho, Faith Divides Us – Death Unites Us.

SLASH's 'Homecoming' Concert Filmed For DVD Release

Slash's (VELVET REVOLVER, ex-GUNS N' ROSES) "homecoming" gig on July 24 at the Victoria Hall in Stoke-on-Trent — the town where Slash was raised — was filmed for a DVD release, tentatively due in October.

"I've been wanting to do this for a long time and for some reason it just never seemed possible," said Slash.

"One of the things about doing the solo record and setting up my own tour was that I told the powers-that-be that I wanted to play in places I'd never played before. And so Stoke was something that was high on my list and I told them just make it happen."

Slash, whose real name is Saul Hudson, left Stoke-on-Trent when he was five years old. But he said he still had "vivid memories" of the city.

"I have memories that I went to school there, of the basic neighbourhood that I lived in. I remember exactly what the house looked like. Just everything in general, for some reason my memory is really clear. Better than my memory of later years."

The Stoke-on-Trent concert sold out in less than two hours after tickets went on sale on May 6.

Over 1,500 fans attended the show, which marked Slash's first-ever concert in his hometown.

David Bradbury, Group Press Officer of the Ambassador Theatre Group, told StaffsLive, "We always knew the gig was going to be popular and the fact that the gig sold out in less than two hours is brilliant.

"Slash is a local hero, he's from Stoke-on-Trent and not a lot of people know that. I think he lived here until he was 11 so this is a bit of a homecoming gig."

Slash stated after the concert: "Stoke was a [fuckin'] blast!! Great vibe and energy. It's going to make a killer DVD. We'll be back next year definitely!"

Although Myles Kennedy sang just two tracks on Slash's self-titled solo debut, Slash recently confirmed that Myles will sing everything on the guitarist's next solo effort.

Speaking to Nicky Horne, he revealed, "Myles and I have been writing all throughout the tour so we've got a lot of material, and at this point we're probably gonna start a little bit of pre-production in June and then do the tour in July. In September we're going to [do more] pre-production and the album is slated to come out in March or April."

In a recent interview with The Pulse Of Radio, Kennedy said about the fact that Slash would like him to handle the lead vocals on the guitarist's next CD, "It's very flattering. I think there's kind of a cool thing we got going. We really enjoy working with each other. I know they're auditioning singers now for VELVET REVOLVER, so I don't know if they find the right guy if that'll affect things timing-wise. I'm not really sure. But the plan right now is that yeah, we'll do a record together down the road."

Slash's debut disc came out last year and featured a different singer on each track, including Chris Cornell, Ozzy Osbourne, M. Shadows and others.

Doro: Lançamento de DVD duplo nos EUA com shows especiais

 

Finalmente, uma dose dupla de Doro estará disponível nos Estados Unidos.

Quando a vocalista de “All We Are” comemorou seu 25º aniversário em 2008, ela arrancou o telhado fora da ISS Dome em sua cidade natal, Dusseldorf, Alemanha. 8.500 dos melhores amigos de Doro participaram do show, incluindo participações especiais no palco de Bobby Overkill do ”Blitz” Ellsworth, Chris Boltendahl do Grave Digger, a ex-vocalista do Nightwish Tarja Turunen, Klaus Meine do Scoripons,Floor Jansen, Axel Rudi Pell e muitos outros. Foi uma Metal Party como nenhuma outra.

O set foi gravado e gerou set ’25 Years in Rock’ com CD e DVD duplos. O set será finalmente lançado nos EUA, em 13 de setembro via Nuclear Blast.

O set também inclui takes do do 2.500º show! 2.500 shows?! Doro detona como nenhuma outra princesa Teutonica poderia. Exceto talvez por Angela Gossow, do Arch Enemy.

Para comemorar o lançamento nos EUA do set ’25 Years in Rock’, Doro irá realizar dois shows em Nova York e em Chicago. Doro fará os shows na Big Apple e no City Windy especial com clipes do DVD, venda de itens da edição limitada, participando de uma sessão de autógrafos e se apresentando, é claro.

RAIMUNDOS: A banda que reescreveu o rock brasileiro está de volta

No começo dos anos 90, alguns “loucos amigos loucos” juntaram os discos do popular Zenilton com o som dos Ramones para criarem canções sacanas, divertidas e sem compromissos comerciais. Surgia o Raimundos. Do Cerrado direto para o sucesso em escala nacional e os grandes palcos foi apenas uma questão de tempo. E o tempo estava a favor deles. A banda espontaneamente reescreveu o rock brasileiro e se transformou numa marca nacional.

Foi quase uma década de sucesso intenso, turnês ininterruptas, oito CDs e inúmeros “hits” nas rádios. Inesperadamente, a história do Raimundos teve um desfecho súbito e surpreendente. Gotthard lançando novo CD e DVD

Chega às lojas dia 30 de setembro Homegrown – Alive in Lugano, CD/DVD ao vivo do Gotthard. O lançamento já era planejado antes da trágica morte do vocalista Steve Lee, mas acabou sendo adiado. O show na terra natal do grupo aconteceu no dia 17 de julho do ano passado, sendo um dos últimos da banda com o cantor. Em casa, os músicos se apresentaram para um público estimado em 20 mil pessoas.

O DVD ainda trará como bônus outro concerto do grupo na cidade, esse realizado em 31 de dezembro de 1999. Outros extras incluem uma música inédita, chamada “The Train”, gravada ao vivo em estúdio, além de entrevistas com os integrantes da banda.
